![]() Robert Korzeniowski - multi medal winner Robert Korzeniowski Robert Korzeniowski (born July 30, 1968 in Lubaczów, Poland) is a former Polish racewalker. He has won four gold medals at the Summer Olympics and three world championships.
Korzeniowski is a three-peat winner of the 50 km walk at the Summer Olympics. He won 1996 in Atlanta, 2000 in Sydney, and 2004 in Athens. In addition, he became the first athlete to claim both the long distance and the short distance crown, when he won the 20 km title at the Sydney 2000 Olimpic Games. He won world championship titles in 1997, 2001, and 2003. He won the European Championship twice - in Budapest 1998 and in Munich 2002. He is also the former world record holder in the 50 km race.
He retired after the 2004 Games but is looking to become actively involved in various roles with the International Olympic Committee. He is also the coach and mentor of the former world record-holder Francisco Javier Fernandez. Since 2005 he has worked for Polish Public Television as the Head of the Sport Section and in 2007 he became the General Manager of TVP Sport, a new specialized channel in Poland. He created a new approach for sports in TV by eliminating live broadcast and focusing on history of sports and talk shows about sport.

Antoni Niemczak
Niemczak now manages The Inn at Paradise, a beautiful bed and breakfast in Albuquerque, New Mexico with his wife Natalia. A devoted Catholic and a loving husband and father, Antoni has become an avid skier and golfer. He has three daughters and one son. His youngest daughter, Zofia is following her father's athletic footsteps, but in a different way: she is quickly becoming an excellent swimmer.
Antoni Niemczak (born November 17, 1955) is a retired long-distance runner from Poland, who won the inaugural 1984 edition of the Vienna Marathon, clocking 2:12:17 on March 25, 1984. He finished in eighth place at the 1986 European Championships in Stuttgart, West Germany. His best marathon time is 2:09:41, which he ran on October 28, 1990 in the Chicago Marathon. He finished in second place with a margin of less than one second between him and Martin Pitayo. Antoni was ranked seventh in the world for the marathon in 1990, the same year he won ther the San Francisco Marathon.
